Analytics Engineer

Faratech Islamic Bank is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our analytics team. You'll transform raw banking data into actionable insights, build dashboards and reports, and enable data-driven decision making across the organization.

About the Role

As an Analytics Engineer at Faratech, you'll work at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence. You'll build analytics solutions, create dashboards, and provide insights that help drive business decisions while ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain analytics dashboards and reports
• Transform and model data for analytics and BI tools
• Write complex SQL queries for data analysis
• Create data visualizations and interactive dashboards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on analytics requirements
• Ensure data quality and accuracy in reporting
• Document analytics processes and data definitions
• Support ad-hoc data analysis requests
• Work with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
• Implement data governance and cataloging
• Monitor analytics performance and optimize queries
• Present insights and findings to stakeholders

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis
• Strong SQL skills and experience with databases
• Experience with BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytics solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech or banking industry
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Experience with dbt or similar analytics engineering tools
• Understanding of statistical analysis
• Experience with cloud data platforms
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
