Business Analyst

Faratech Islamic Bank is looking for a Business Analyst to join our product and operations team. You'll analyze business processes, gather requirements, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs while ensuring Sharia compliance.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst at Faratech, you'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze processes, and ensure successful delivery of banking products and services that align with Islamic finance principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for new products and features
• Analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Create business process models, user stories, and functional specifications
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders
• Work with product and engineering teams on solution design
• Ensure solutions comply with banking regulations and Sharia principles
• Perform gap analysis and impact assessments
• Support user acceptance testing and change management
• Create documentation and training materials
• Monitor and analyze business metrics and KPIs
• Provide support for business operations and troubleshooting
• Stay current with Islamic banking trends and regulations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
• Knowledge of business process modeling and analysis
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in documentation and collaboration tools
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech or banking industry
• Knowledge of Islamic banking and finance principles
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Professional certification (CBAP, CCBA, or similar)
• Fluency in French and English
