Product Manager

Faratech Islamic Bank is seeking a Product Manager to lead product strategy and development for our digital banking platform. You'll work with cross-functional teams to deliver banking products and features that are both innovative and compliant with Sharia principles.

About the Role

As a Product Manager at Faratech, you'll be responsible for defining product vision, gathering requirements, prioritizing features, and working with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver products that meet customer needs while ensuring Sharia compliance and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmap for banking products
• Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders
• Work with engineering teams on feature development and delivery
• Ensure products comply with Sharia principles and banking regulations
• Conduct user research and analyze customer feedback
• Define success metrics and track product performance
• Create product documentation and specifications
• Collaborate with design teams on user experience
• Coordinate with compliance and legal teams
• Manage product launches and go-to-market activities
• Stay current with fintech trends and Islamic banking innovations
• Present product plans and updates to leadership

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product management
• Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Understanding of user-centered design principles
• Ability to translate business needs into product requirements
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Islamic banking or finance
• Knowledge of Sharia compliance and Islamic finance principles
• Experience with digital banking products
• Technical background or understanding of software development
• MBA or advanced degree
• Product management certifications
• Fluency in French and English
